OUR SLIP RING :

The leaf blade brush system is a special brush that slides over the surface of a brass or bronze ring.
It has the function of transmitting electric power, analog and digital signals from a fixed point (brush) to a rotating piece (ring) (input = ring / output = brush)  (see diagram 1)

The main advantages of the system are:

1) Compactness and simplicity of construction (see drawing);
2) Easy maintenance;
3) Low values ​​of electrical resistivity (0.2 <R <6 mΩ)
4) Good values ​​of the Impedance characteristic of the ring / brush system
5) Low friction value (Good ring / brush smoothness).
7) Low overheating at the point of contact. 
8) Low values ​​of over-temperature of the terminals in the event of failure .
9) Fast cooling down in case of failure at the point of contact
